Conducting regular,
formal and informal
workplace inspections will ensure injuries are prevented. When performing
workplace inspections, it is important to include areas that may be at risk in
relation to psychological safety. Some examples might be areas where
workers are working alone, providing client care or handling cash. Asking
workers for their input while performing the inspection can help to identify
any areas of concern - this can be something like adding a reminder to your
existing inspection checklist to include any previously identified psycho-social
hazards.
